The Making Home Affordable Plan

I saw a news item on WAVY News 10 last week concerning
home foreclosure and I thought I would pass it on through
the blog. Maybe you know someone who could use the info.

The video below tells one woman's story of how the federal
government is willing to bring her payments down to 38 percent
of what her total gross income is through the federal
"Making Home Affordable" plan.(MHA)

Go to WAVY.com for more info and to see related links.

Take care everyone.

Don't Quit Poem, Candy Dulfer, Wayne Brady

Unemployment is at an all time high,
Gas prices are inching back up again.
People are losing their homes through
foreclosure.

If you, or someone you know are experiencing
any of these, or other troubles here's a poem
by an unknown author, that may be motivating
and uplifting, for these difficult times.

DON'T QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest! if you must; but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow;
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit;
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

Here are a couple of videos that have been out since
February. First is Wayne Brady.
This song is finally getting the airplay it deserves.

Next is Candy Dulfer. I thought it was David Sanborn.

Well, that's it for now. Comments or "tweets" are welcomed.
