Message From Rufus Jackon, BTW 68 Class President

To: The Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1968 Alumni Group and Friends

Once again we have emphatically demonstrated what unity and respect for each other can accomplish.
Our February 16, 2013 Valentine Scholarship Affair may have been our best ever.
The guests that I talked to stated that they had a wonderful evening and were looking forward to our next event.

The hospitality and courtesy that we extend to our guest was brought to my attention on several occasions and
has become almost legendary. Those comments make me extremely proud to be a member of the BTW68 Family.

I would like to thank our members for their contributions of food (which was outstanding), decorations, beverages, eating utensils and plates. I would also like to extend a special thanks to those members who escorted guest to their tables and the tireless workers who served the food.

We are blessed to have you as part of our extended family.

The BTW68 Red & White Dance was an overwhelming, fun filled success.
We had a very good time. Fellowship, music, and food. It was ALL good.
