Fellow Classmates,
The City of Norfolk is in the process of compiling a history of
Norfolk"s African American Community. This project is supported
by Councilman Paul Riddick. It is requested that anyone with
old photos or documents relevant to this effort submit them for
consideration.

Speaking of old documents, while cleaning out my attic, I came across
a box of stuff from way back. Inside were about 10 issues of The Clarion,
our old school newspaper. They are yellowed and fragile but still legible.
I scanned them in B+W. Unfortunately,they lose their quality when you
